Kinematics
study of objects in motion, as seen by an observer
When typing in the direction of vectors follow this format to get the right answers! (otherwise answer is always 0 lol)
Note: letters can be typed in upper or lower case!
- Type in Magnitude
-
Vector at an Angle?
- Type in starting direction, N/E/S/W, then space
- Type in the angle of the vector, space
- Type in the direction the angle is going towards form the starting point N/E/S/W
Note: Make sure your directions are perpendicular to each other (e.x. N 30 S is not an eligible angle)
-
Direction just N/E/S/W?
Type in direction, N/E/S/W
Wrong: S30W or 90 SW or E 90 W
Correct: e 20 N or S 63.3 E or w 42 n
Displacement, Distance and Othe Scalar Quantities
Total distance/time/any scalar quantity really
Change in distance/time/any scalar quantity really
Total Displacement
Velocity, Speed and Acceleration
Average Speed
Average Velocity
Note: Formula assumes acceleration is 0
Average Acceleration
Kinematic Equations
Write all known values, then type '?' for unknown you want to find and 'm' for the value thats not part of your calculation at all
Kinematic Equation Formulas
Note: Equation 1 assumes acceleration is constant
